Interaction effects in graphene in a weak magnetic field

چکیده
A weak perpendicular magnetic field, $B$, breaks the chiral symmetry of each valley in electron spectrum graphene, preserving overall Brillouin zone. We explore consequences this breaking for interaction effects graphene. In particular, we demonstrate that electron-electron lifetime acquires an anomalous $B$ dependence. Also, ballistic zero-bias anomaly, $\ensuremath{\delta}\ensuremath{\nu}(\ensuremath{\omega})$, where $\ensuremath{\omega}$ is energy measured from Fermi level, emerges at a and has form $\ensuremath{\delta}\ensuremath{\nu}(B)\ensuremath{\sim}{B}^{2}/{\ensuremath{\omega}}^{2}$. Temperature dependence magnetic-field corrections to thermodynamic characteristics graphene also anomalous. discuss experimental manifestations predicted. The microscopic origin $B$-field sensitivity extra phase acquired by wave function resulting chirality-induced pseudospin precession.

2D-Magnetic Field and Biaxiall In-Plane Pre-Load Effects on the Vibration of Double Bonded Orthotropic Graphene Sheets
In this study, thermo-nonlocal vibration of double bonded graphene sheet (DBGS) subjected to 2D-magnetic field under biaxial in-plane pre-load are presented. The elastic forces between layers of graphene sheet (GS) are taken into account by Pasternak foundation and the classical plate theory (CLPT) and continuum orthotropic elastic plate are used. The nonlocal theory of Eringen and Maxwell’s re...
متن کاملMagnetic field screening and mirroring in graphene.
The orbital magnetism in spatially varying magnetic fields is studied in monolayer graphene within the effective-mass approximation. We find that, unlike the conventional two-dimensional electron system, graphene with a small Fermi wave number kF works as a magnetic shield where the field produced by a magnetic object placed above graphene is always screened by a constant factor on the other si...
متن کاملModeling of Pulsatile Blood flow in a weak magnetic field
Blood pulse is an important human physiological signal commonly used for the understanding of the individual physical health. Current methods of non-invasive blood pulse sensing require direct contact or access to the human skin. As such, the performances of these devices tend to vary with time and are subjective to human body fluids (e.g. blood, perspiration and skin-oil) and environmental con...
